OK, so he deserves more wordage than that. Bayern's Canadian rocket engine is so fast that he spends most of his time on the left wing rather than at left back. That's a credit to the way Munich play, but Alphonso deserves serious praise for how quickly he has settled into a pressured environment.

He's still only 19 years of age, and that 81 overall will be 88-90 within a few years of Career Mode. If you buy him in this year's game, then you likely won't have to purchase another left-sided defender/winger ever again. That's something to really think about.
