FIFA 21: 10 Latest Rumours You Need To Know

3. Euro 2021

UEFA's Euro 2020 tournament has been postponed until summer 2021, but that didn't stop Konami's eFootball PES 2020 from launching a free update for the tourney this past June. For some reason, a number of Twitter users think EA will steal back some international glory by releasing their own update in FIFA 21.

For a renamed Euro 2021.

This seems like a rather odd rumour, being honest. The tournament license was already doled out to Konami, so it'd be a bit weird if UEFA grabbed some more cash by giving EA the rights to next year's real-life second take. Konami would likely be more than a bit flummoxed with the governing body if that happened.

There are rumours that they're not releasing a fully-fledged PES 2021 themselves, and so the Euro 2020 pack would still be knocking around Konami's universe by the time the tournament did take place. Some believe this will be a rare example of something both FIFA and PES share.
