Speaking of waning greats, it's ex-City class act David Silva!

People can say what they want about his jump back to La Liga with Real Sociedad, but David's retirement tour starts now. Although City fans dreamed of a magical ending for one of the best midfielders of his generation, they didn't get it, and that's partly because Silva doesn't have the engine he once did. There's no shame in that - it's life.

A fair number of his stats, including shooting, defending and physical skills are too low for someone with an 86 overall rating. Someone at EA obviously ouldn't bear the heartbreak of slapping a "lowly" 81-83 on Silva after his sparkling Premier League career.
