FIFA Ultimate Team: Ranking Every Year From Worst To Best
7. FIFA 11
By FIFA 11, Ultimate Team was beginning to gain huge popularity. With this in mind, EA made the decision to make the game mode free to play.
2011 saw the inclusion of Leaderboards which allowed players to see how their clubs compared to their friends. A huge change was that the web-app opened the door for coin-selling to become a thing. This allowed players to build their Ultimate-Team much cheaper and easier. At this time, EA seemed much more focused on making a fun-arcade type game, not something aimed to perfectly imitate real life. This is the main reason the game ranks above others on this list.
Although not a bad year, this iteration saw changes that weren't too big compared to changes made in the previous two years.
