Final Fantasy: 30 Defining Pieces Of Music

1. Aeris' Theme (Final Fantasy VII)

http://youtu.be/fIqKWLkm2-g A sad and tragic theme, this would serve as a fitting send-off for any departed individual, not just for the virtual character that it was written for, whose unexpected death is a scene memorable for its musical accompaniment as much as its content. And so, that completes things. The omission of tracks such as One Winged Angel and Dancing Mad may displease some, but few can deny that these thirty tracks are more than adequate representations of the soundtracks that have accompanied twenty five years of Final Fantasy games. With Uematsu now all but gone from the creation process, having contributed only a handful of tracks to the series since his 2004 departure, they will be tough to better as the series continues to progress, but difficult to forget.
