10. Revisit Chapter 14 And Get The Second Elemental Materia

First things first: You NEED both elemental materias. There's a reason Square Enix hide the second one behind the Divine Gratitude/Angel of the Slums secret trophy, and it makes you unstoppable against the majority of bosses.

To acquire, revisit Ch.14 (on easy or normal if you just want to have some fun), and finish all side missions. You do NOT need to have completed all side missions in the game, just Chapter 14's.

After doing so, at the end of the path that leads to the red Avalanche graffiti and the close of the chapter, you'l find a letter from Mireille, giving you another elemental materia.

Whilst two Elemental Materias on one character means only the first takes effect, split it means two party members can infuse their attacks with magic, or even better, have two characters completely immune to a given boss' most devastating attacks.
