4. AVALANCHE Have Military Training

Just check out the way Biggs and Jessie clear the area ahead before Barrett and Cloud head up behind them. The increased visual fidelity that comes with rendering all these scenes for new hardware, means Square had to think on how the ragtag bunch of AVALANCHE members handle themselves out in the field. Barrett even refers to them as "Blue Group" right at the end of the trailer. I always pegged them as a group of revolutionary misfits, barely scraping through and getting the job done, not a militaristic unit headed up by Barrett who's now painted as something of a commanding 'General' figure - what with his sunglasses and more identifiable set of dogtags. Still, this both helps and hinders the group's portrayal in the eyes of the player, as no longer are we playing as an unassuming no-name combat specialist who's got the edge on this band of freedom fighters, but someone who's merely bolstering the ranks by being along for the ride.
