FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 Collector's Edition Announced US

The collectors edition will retail for $79.99 US and will include "four-disc soundtrack and an art book containing concept artwork from Final Fantasy XIII-2, featuring illustrations, environments"

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released early next year, and today we get our first look at the newly announced collectors edition for the game. The collectors edition will retail for $79.99 US and will include "four-disc soundtrack and an art book containing concept artwork from Final Fantasy XIII-2, featuring illustrations, environments". The collectors edition will be available at Gamestop, Amazon, and Best Buy in limited quantities. For those who don't know Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the sequel to Final Fantasy XIII; a game that by all accounts was reviewed fairly well but had a huge fan backlash because of it's design. Final Fantasy XIII was probably the most divisive game in the series, you either loved it or hated it. I actually can't believe the game got a sequel because even though it sold well, there were so many people disliked it. I would like to hear from fans of Final Fantasy XIII are you guys excited for a sequel or was this a game that didn't need a sequel? Will you be picking up this collectors edition or is it too steep of a price? Release Date: US January 31, 2012, EU February 3, 2012
