Finally! A Gameplay Trailer For DEAD ISLAND

Thanks to Game Trailers we now have some gameplay from the hugely anticipated Dead Island, with the added bonus of a walkthrough commentary from Vincent Kummer, who is brand manager at Deep Silver. So without further ado, here it is: http://youtu.be/QKrDyjMPmIg There will no doubt be a huge response to this trailer across the net, because quite frankly it doesn't look like what we were initially promised from that astonishing teaser trailer, but for me it's still a hugely exciting looking game. Violence was always going to be a key element, and the blood splatter counter is currently recovering in a dark room somewhere, because there is a lot of claret on show in this first look at the gameplay. I say get over your hang-ups if you're turned off by this gameplay, because no matter how much it looks like yet another FPS, the design work is phenomenal, and it is sure to leave a lasting effect when it eventually gets a release.
