Fire Emblem: Three Houses - 10 Gameplay Features Fans Will Love

3. So Many Characters

The insane amount of characters can be both an upside and downside. More characters mean more heroes, which means more power for your army. Then again, say you start to feel attached to a character. It's a Fire Emblem game: this character has pretty bad odds of surviving this war (without having to restart to a previous save point).

These cool kiddos have some cool personalities. Sit in with them during lunches, or take moments during tutoring to learn about their sad backstory. Once again: It's a Fire Emblem game. They probably have a sad backstory.

Of course, units fighting next to one another will grant each other boosts in battle through stat upgrades and the occasional fighting assists. The more units grow together, the more of that sad backstory you'll be able to unlock!
