Football Manager 2014: 12 New Features To Be Excited About

Transfer A lot of us loving playing as lower league managers, and there€™s no shame in that. Oftentimes, it€™s the lower league games that are the most rewarding. After all, there€™s a unique thrill to unearthing a gem at your shack of a youth set-up which only long-term League Two helmers will understand. Yet there will always come a time when a bigger club swoops in and takes your prize starlet, and I guess that€™s fine. Football is nothing if not Darwinian, and your prodigy will always outgrow your club. But when he signs you see him wasting away in the reserves, and you feel sad €“ if only you could have him back, if just on loan€ Well, on FM 14, you can! The option to have your player loaned back to you for a certain amount of time after he€™s been transferred over is now an option, meaning you can hold onto that precious wonderkid for at least another season and finally get out of League Two. On the other side of the coin, bigger clubs can now indulge their inner Florentino Perez, offering players on loan along with cash to soften the blow of nicking a star man, giving you more options if you€™re not willing to part with too much cash or be permanently deprived of a player.
