Football Manager 2014: 13 Ludicrous Ratings SI Need To Fix

12. Leon Osman's Work-Rate

In Everton colours, Osman has progressed from an enthusiastic youngster all the way through to a first-tea mainstay, with a key role in the squad, not only as a leader but as a grounding influence on the pitch among younger heads. He is also known as an Energiser bunny type of player, committed to the extreme and full of running for the team's cause, while other players attract significantly more praise for their flair and higher goal returns. But FM13 ignored this key attribute, giving Osman unfairly low ratings, and not reflecting his true value to the team. He may pick up a good number of man of the match performances for players who persevere with his selection despite his statistics, but for anyone who perhaps doesn't know Everton as much, Osman would probably jump to the top of the sale list. What Are The Chances? It's difficult to tell, however as Osman continues to play a key role in the Everton first team, even with a new manager and new midfield signings like James McCarthy, perhaps SI's scouting team will focus more on his work rate and technical skills.
