2. The Talent Factory Challenge
This challenge is one that will capture the imaginations of those of you that love to develop new talent within the game. It is all about self sufficiency and creating a lasting legacy at your chosen club. This is one challenge I really love as I find nothing more rewarding than bringing through a regen youth player and gradually molding him into a future international superstar. Like with all the challenges aforementioned you can dictate the difficulty of this challenge with your choice of starting team. I would very much recommend starting off with a side from the lowest division of your chosen nation, as this is a true challenge. In order to undertake this challenge there is only one rule you need to follow. You cannot make any transfers in, not even loans (unless a parent team send them to you without your request). You are free to sell players or loan out players at any point. This means that you can focus on developing your club behind the scenes. You will need to look at improving all of your facilities and staff. In particular you will have to look at all aspects of your youth setup in order to succeed at this challenge. Your goal is initially to get your team to the top domestic division. The key to getting there is to invest in your facilities and youth setup. Build a set of coaches to develop your future stars and develop your scouting range to find talent from further afield. The best way of doing this is by turning a yearly profit so that you can the request that the Board upgrade your facilities. You can help yourself by selling star players for large fees and by going on swashbuckling cup runs. Once you have managed to get to the top domestic division you will need to establish yourself and attempt to bring through your youth talent consistently. Your aims then can be varied, some ideas are; win the domestic title, win the continental title, field a team with only developed players, sell a player for £30 million or more, see your player become national team captain, see your player awarded major honours, to give just a few ideas. There is a huge scope of where you can take this challenge and obviously success is subjective to where you decide to start this challenge. I know a lot of people have undertaken this challenge and it is a really enjoyable one, I would very much recommend that everyone tries this.
