Football Manager 2015: 10 Hardest Career Challenges You Must Tackle
8. Southampton
Objective: Rebuild smartly, finish in the top half. From one team's suffering comes another's gain, with this certainly being the case for the English seaside club, who have taken Ronald Koeman, and Graziano Pelle from aforementioned Feyenoord. Tasked with finding stability despite the relative firesale which has taken place at St. Mary's over the past two months, the Dutch coach certainly has an unenviable task which will be the go-to career for any Premier League lover booting up FM15 for the first time. Taking in huge fees for the likes of Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Luke Shaw and Calum Chambers, Southampton will certainly have some financial clout - though recent deals have proven that clubs are keen to squeeze a few additional million out of an outfit who are struggling to counter-act their significant exodus. Though plenty of Koeman's transfer kitty may have already been spent by the release of the game, Southampton are certainly set to be financially competitive for the foreseeable future, while their superb youth facilities provide the basis for long-term success in the English top flight. Whether they can remain similarly competitive on the field, however, remains to be seen.
