Originally named Championship Manager and first launched in 1992, the data contained in the Football Manager series has always been painstakingly accurate; its the main selling point of the brand. Just like football itself, it isnt just a game; its a second yet equally important life.
Yes, it is only a game in the literal sense, but in terms of providing the user with a professional, dynamic and incredibly scientific learning experience, its an education. But, if you weren't an avid football fan (I know, it would be awful wouldn't it?) and you just fancied a whirl on the unexplainably beautiful simulation series then there are a few red herrings you must watch out for.
