For some managers, part of the fun is implementing a solid wage structure. It sounds like a shockingly boring investment of time, but there's something satisfying about reining in the club's expenditure and deploying a side that is both deadly AND cost-efficient. But it's near-impossible to do when every single club at the top splashes insane, extortionate sums of money on the world's finest players, with their wages frequently exceeding £200,000, even if their stats aren't worthy of half that price. The Financial Fair Play features have been implemented but still there are plenty of teams who blast ludicrous amounts of cash every transfer window, when in reality, that simply doesn't happen...
