6. Marco Carnesecchi

Club: Atalanta (on loan at Cremonese)

Nationality: Italian

Price: £6 million

Marco Carnesecchi is one of those signings it's great to get in the bag early on, with it a purchase that will reap major dividends in the future.

The 21-year-old Italian is unable to be signed in the first season FM22 due to being loaned out from Atalanta to Cremonese. That doesn't mean that you can't strike a deal with Atalanta for the player to join you for the 2022/2023 season, though.

If you get in early enough to put this agreement in place, all being well you should be able to land Carnesecchi for £6 million. Best utilised as a sweeper keeper, Marco has all of the markings of developing into one of the best on the game - particularly with him starting FM22 with 15 for reflexes and 14 for handling.

Should you opt to start a new game as one of the bigger teams in world football, Carnesecchi is a great signing who could even benefit from another season or two out on loan should you already have a solid #1 in your squad.
