For the stats nerds out there, the new Data Hub feature sounds like an absolutely godsend.

Here, gamers will get to dive into a world of analytical tracking that will have the number crunchers amongst you smiling from ear to ear. In particular, one section of this that is being heavily pushed by the Sports Interactive team is the pass map.

Prior FM releases have featured variations of the pass map, but this FM22 element is said to be comprehensive in how it allows you to see which players in your team are receiving the ball the most - which in turn can help you to address which players need to hold onto the ball more, or which of your line-up need to be letting the ball go quicker.

Elsewhere in the Data Hub, FM22 will afford you the opportunity to fully analyse your team's performance in cold, hard numbers. There's momentum graphs, zone maps and other swanky features at your fingertips so that you can immediately see why your team are making boneheaded decisions that lead to you being 4-0 down at half-time to Woking on a wet Tuesday night.
