Football Manager 2022: 10 Strikers You Must Sign

2. Ângelo

Football Manager 2022 Matías Arezo
SEGA

Club: SAN

Nationality: Brazilian

Price: £12 million

If all goes according to plan, Ângelo turns out to be the best striker on FM22 for a spell.

Given that the Brazilian starts the game aged 16, it takes a few seasons for the SAN prospect to really get going, but once he develops into a nailed-on first team starter, the sky really is the limit for Ângelo.

In the real world, Ângelo is already being monitored by a who's who of European football, with some throwing around comparisons to the likes of Pele, Ronaldo and Romario. To that end, it also doesn't help that Ângelo actually made his Santos senior debut when he was only 15 years, 10 months and 4 days - which is 11 days younger than Pele was when he debuted for Santos.

The point is, Ângelo is an extremely special prospect who can blossom into one of the finest strikers of his generation.

Of course, one sticking point for some sides will be that Ângelo requires a work permit. Regardless of his immense potential, that won't be enough to qualify him for a work permit in certain leagues. If you're in one of the nations where a work permit isn't an issue, though, do all that you can to sign up this prodigy-in-waiting - with £12 million likely enough to seal the deal.
