Fortnite Chapter 2: 8 Biggest New Changes
1. The Battle Pass
It wouldn't be Fortnite without it - Chapter 10 comes complete with a new Battle Pass, as with every season before it.
It's still
priced at 950 V-Bucks, and carries with it everything you've come to expect -
skins, emotes, dances, wraps, music, and more, all earned as you progress
higher and higher in the new Level system, which Epic say has been designed to
make getting to the high end of the Battle Pass less of a grind.
This season's skins revolve around a Hero vs Villain concept, with each character having a villainous "alter-ego" style. The blobby blue character Rippley, for instance, has a much angrier-looking red variant called Sludge.
Other highlights include new "synced" emotes you can pull off with other players, such as high fives; a blobby harvesting tool based off Rippley that shifts between different forms as you play; a Pogo Stick emote; and of course, plenty of V-Bucks - 1500 in total, giving you enough to buy next season's pass, with some left over to buy any of the many new items available in the in-game store.
