2. It's Still A Total Blast When Played Offline

While there's been an increasing incidence in recent years of online, shared world racers forcing players to play the game while connected to the Internet - looking at you, Need for Speed - this is among a dying breed that can be played entirely offline (bar the multiplayer suite, of course).

If you're fed up of being shunted to death by online human racers or are inexplicably without Internet for some reason, Forza Horizon 4 still boasts a fully playable offline experience. Real humans will be substituted out for the series' familiar Drivatars, and the bulk of the racing modes will open up to you just as they would if you were playing online.

Sure, there are precious few players who will decide to play the game this way, but in an age where many publishers are seeking out as many ways as possible to control players, it's worth noting that the Forza franchise appears to be rejecting that notion.

And more to the point, while many offline-only versions of shared world games end up feeling dead and empty, here the game still feels vibrant and "alive" whether you're connected or not.
