Early Bird is the latest game from Booya Inc to hit the Android Market and App Store. It is 69p or $0.99 on Android and FREE on IOS Devices. But if you are unfortunate enough to own an Android device like myself, I can assure you that Early is worth every one of those pennies. Early Bird is the perfect mixture of puzzle and physics we have come to know and enjoy from great titles like Angry Birds. Early Bird reminds me of the age old Lunar Landing (released in 1979, before I was conceived). The fact that you get a painstaking 96 levels to complete across 4 different 'zones' is worth 69 of anyone's pennies. The main objective of the game is to get your bird to the target where the worm is hiding underground, the closer to the middle of the target the more points you get. But to boost those points you can collect little bugs on your way to the target. You also get extra points for dropping from a big height, flying or bouncing off of flowers. All you have to do to control your bird is simply swipe your finger at the speed and trajectory you want the bird to fly in, sounds simple doesn't it? Well it isn't because you only get a specific number of swipes to complete a level. The graphics of Early Bird are cartoony to say the least, so if you're looking for the most realistic, captivating game I'd advise you to look elsewhere. it has a nice uplifting soundtrack and sounds to match. This is a game that has a lot of potential as well as long playtime and great eye easing visuals a great addition to any gamers smartphone, just for a few pence.
