Ghost Recon: Wildlands - 6 Reasons The Story Completely Fails

1. That Ending

The fact that there are two endings to the game should provide the gamer with a chance to experience something new. Hell, one of them might even redeem the plot. This succeeds only to a certain point. The regular ending, when Bowman shoots El Sueno is rather conventional and the fact that she does so because of revenge is really disappointing.

The other one, reached when you completely take down Santa Blanca, is actually a lot better - El Sueno walks away and lives on as Confidential Informant #38726B, which is very frustrating to Bowman and all the others involved in the operation.

Why is it better? Because it shows that there's rarely justice whenever politics are involved.

However, this ending is far from good - once Bowman starts to hypothesize about El Sueno's prison break, it also falls apart, as it opts to lay ground for a sequel rather than properly finish a promising story.
