Brok and Sindri will become a player's best friends if they want to fight the Valkyries, as they provide weapon and armour upgrades. Also, they give the player access to resurrection stones. There are three types of resurrection stones within the game; Simple Resurrection Stone; Superior Resurrection Stone; and Berserker’s Resurrection Stone. For fighting Valkyries, the Simple Resurrection Stone will be useless.

The Superior Resurrection Stone is the safer of the remaining two stones as it near enough resets the player's health. It will cost the player 5,000 Hacksilver and will revive Kratos from death with a large amount of health, allowing players to keep fighting with their health near full.

The Berserker’s Resurrection Stone, however, is a riskier stone to use but can be very beneficial if used correctly. It will coat the player 10,000 Hacksilver and will revive Kratos with a small amount of health but a full rage meter. If used quickly, players can active Kratos's rage mode and earn back a lot of their health with each attack that lands of the Valkyries.

Either stone can be useful based on how the player prefers to use Kratos's abilities in combat.
