2. Braziers
For players that don't fully explore the worlds in God of War (2018), the Braziers may seem a bit of a mystery, but they are a key to the history of the Valkyries and the location of two of them. Fortunately, the player won't have to look far for them as the eight braziers are on each on the world towers surrounding Tyr's temple.
To light the braziers, Atreus will need to learn both the Niflheim and Muspelheim languages so he can read the eight Valkyrie names inscribed on the Braziers. As Kratos and Atreus light the Braziers, Mimir speculates that the Queen of the Valkyries placed them to memorialise Valkyries.
Kratos will earn the Valkyrie's Bane when he lights all the Braziers. This Enchantment reduced all damage from the Valkyrie by 5% and can be stacked three times for a total of 15%. A 5-15% damage may not sound like much, but in a fight with the Valkyries - especially the Queen - could be the difference between success and failure.
