Gotham Knights steps away from Batman and instead features the Bat Family in a Gotham without its primary protector.

As for our new main characters, there's a lot to take in.

Jason Todd is seen decoding Bruce's message, and seems to have scars from his encounter with the Joker, yet he retains the white hair streak indicative of his Hush appearance, whereas the late commissioner's daughter Barbara is in the Clock Tower hideout by her wheelchair, indicating she was once injured and became Oracle, having healed and recovered.

Drake appears as a much younger Robin, while Dick Grayson appears in his black and blue suit. All of these characters seem to have their own different weapons, from tonfas to escrima sticks.

Each of the Family are uniquely designed gameplay-wise too, such as Red Hood's use of weaponry, Robin's short range teleportation or Batgirl's stealth and hacking skills.

WB stated that the game was built to let players approach each challenge with their preferred style and build, and that the game could be played alone in single-player with each of the four members, or played co-operatively with another player online.

So far only these members of the Bat Family have been announced but there's always a chance the likes of Azrael, Catwoman or even Batman himself could make an appearance. Sadly I wouldn't cross my fingers for a playable Batcow just yet.
