Speaking of customisation, whenever the characters defeat an opponent they drop a form of currency.
The pickups will no doubt be a way for players to upgrade their armour and abilities, tying into the customisation elements from before.
Damage outputs and enemy health can be seen during the fights which will be all too familiar to RPG players but is a new inclusion for the Bat franchise.
During the boss battle it is explained that enemies will level along with the player to ensure that even the earliest of foes can still provide a challenge later in the game. Players will not simply be able to over-level their character in the hopes of an easy win.
The gameplay demo also explains that encounters, such as Freeze, will not only have improved stats but also attacks and defences dependant on their level.
