3. The Truth - GTA V

As mentioned, Rockstar made a point of paying off every last fan theory from San Andreas in GTA V, but like those of us who ventured up to the Back o' Beyond based on map coordinates and timeframes from a random fan forum, GTA V's deeper alien content is reserved for the real diehards.

First up, there's Michael's induction to the mysterious Epsilon cult. Taking place across eight random Stranger missions that slowly induct you into the ways these Epsilonists think, you'll eventually be asked to track down 10 "Epsilon tracts" to further the story.

Again, like paying off alien components with a space ship, nabbing all these collectibles unlocks "The Epsilon Tract of the 9th Paradigm, Year 157", a detailed breakdown of Project Epsilon's belief system.

In a direct satire of Scientology, Epsilonists worship an ancient alien entity called Kifflom, but also believe some people can talk to trees, that female members must lie with men five times a day in July, and that both dinosaurs and sperm are lies.

Brilliantly, this cult has amassed over $2 million, which you can escape with before you know "the truth", if you caught onto the fact none of this was going to be worth your time.
