If you really can’t be bothered with the mechanical hassle of takeoffs and landings, however, why not try the Jetpack on for size?

This divine device is technically only available after completion of the late “Green Goo” mission, but don’t feel bad about simply unlocking the Jetpack with a cheat code - it’s undoubtedly one of the more frequently used cheats in GTA history.

The Jetpack allows for extremely fast travel with incredible ease, launching off with the press of a button. Its small size and indestructible nature allow you to soar through the clouds or along the streets without fear of being felled by way of collision with a wayward lamppost. San Andreas’ famed Mount Chiliad lacks an airlift, but the Jetpack is the next best thing.

And if finding a decent parking spot is what ails you, have no fear - the Jetpack operates in the same way as a weapon pickup, accessed via a floating icon and disposed of just as simply. It’s a wonder CJ manages to keep his legs so stiff when strapped into the Jetpack mid-flight, but let us not fixate on such insignificant details.

Flying this baby is a staple of the past, and its return in any form would be roundly applauded.
