GTA Definitive Edition: 10 Biggest WTF Moments

4. Falling Into GTA Purgatory

That's not the only gravity-defying spot found across the collection either. In GTA 3, if you go to a very special point of the map in Portland, you'll fall through the game world into nothingness. This appears to happen more frequently when Claude is in a vehicle, and it needs to be patched ASAP.

This could potentially happen mid-mission.

It's a bit crap that this one patch of grass hasn't been properly installed. Instead of driving over it, the car sinks in like it's falling into quicksand, then continues tumbling through time and space as the map floats away above you. Sorry to keep harping on the same point, but this just shouldn't be happening.

Falling into GTA purgatory in a 2021 remaster of a 2001 game is sh*te, and it only makes the trilogy look half-baked and rushed. Was this a dead spot in the original GTA 3? Maybe, but it shouldn't be one in the "Definitive" touch up.
