With a face that bellows 'Bar-room brawl' equally as loudly as it screams 'Gun-wielding maniac', Danny Trejo IS the consummate street-fighter. Fiercely intelligent with an innate bulls**t-detector this Mexican Mafioso would land squarely in any sub-plot with Machiavellian machinations, back-stabbing betrayals or double-dealing drug dealers as their theme. Whilst being the most muscular of my cast-list, he succeeds in his roles despite the brawn rather than because of it, take 50 pounds of him if you will, Danny would still cut it. Geddit? See what I did there? It's 'cos he starred in Machete y'see... oh never mind.

Before we come to our number one, allow me to apologise for any favourites not mentioned. Omission from a list such as this does not imply unworthiness. It could even be argued that such a list that excludes DeNiro, Pacino, Keitel et al holds no value. But dear reader, we will take them as a given.
