2. Discover Freaks & Random Encounters
The stunning graphics, compelling storyline and ability to switch and modify various characters will ensure we're all still playing Grand Theft Auto V well into next year, but the main thing that's going to keep us hooked in the levels of interactivity found in the game. In the past, I have complained that the streets were dead, full of static and brainless pedestrians walking nowhere in particular and completely lacking in character. Not anymore. Now, you will come across various "freaks" who want favours from you, such as an upturned car in flames at the side of the road with an injured woman needing a lift, and someone who needs you to tow cars. There are also random encounters, such as the ones found in Red Dead Redemption, where armed robberies are taking place or someone has been mugged, all of which you can choose to intervene in or not. It is this unpredictability that lends the game so much replay value.
