And here it is -- the single funniest moment in the entire game and the most unforgettable quote. Trevor Phillips and Michael De Santa -- best friends for...until one of them kills the other. No other moment quite gives the sense of history between characters and rising tension. Trevor and Michael have known each other for so long and are both so bitter about where life has taken them. Michael is completely unsatisfied with himself as a man and chooses to act out against everyone closest to him while Trevor's problem is feeling too much. He's like a spurned lover who's punishing himself (and others) for his past failures and betrayals. What we're left with is two men on a long drive up the coast with A LOT of time on their hands. They begin to argue when Michael points out that Trevor's lifestyle might actually be a choice. Trevor responds unkindly and the above classic argument is born. I laughed so hard while shaking my head at the sheer brilliance of this conversation. It's a rare treat when something, especially in a game, is so sharply written. Then again, we've come to expect that from Rockstar, haven't we?
