GTA V: 10 Last Minute Dream Features We Hope Are In The Game

4. Custom Radio

Gta V F The PC versions of Grand Theft Auto have, since the 3D iterations of the games began, largely supported players importing their own music into the game (as long as, in the case of the fourth game, it's DRM-free), though on consoles this has been limited to the Xbox versions of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas, with GTA IV being a no-no. In this day and age, doesn't it seem a bit archaic to restrict users like this? Even ignoring the DRM argument, can modern consoles really not handle the years-old ability to play some MP3s in the background while you're playing the game? Though GTA V is already a demanding game to say the least, surely it's asking less of the title to stream tracks from our hard drives than a disc (assuming the game doesn't "install" all the music to your hard drive)? Given how long the PC versions have been capable of doing this, the console versions seem very much left in the dark as a result.
