2. Mature Story
Rockstar has always had a reputation for upping industry standards with mature oriented stories that while not always grounded in total reality, have characters that feel real and ooze personality. Red Dead Redemption is arguably their masterpiece in this department poetically and beautifully symbolizing the death of the Wild West in its tear-jerking climax, giving Rockstar a run for their money in topping themselves. All signs point to GTA V telling something equally compelling in its slickly written tale of three unique characters coming together to rob banks and get rich whilst struggling with their own personal problems. Lines in the trailer like Michaels wife outraged saying that hes a psychopath who will forever be alone get the adrenaline pumping in your body and the gears in your head spinning. I have no doubts that this game will be another landmark in video game storytelling.
