6. The Sandbox City
Although there are countless imitators of the sandbox format in the overcrowded market that gaming is today, Rockstar are the founders of the concept and cant really be beaten. Since the original GTA, theyve been repeatedly blowing our minds with the sheer levels of detail and activity that they bring to their virtual cities. Of course, with advances in technology seemingly happening every six or seven minutes these days, each new city Rockstar have presented in the GTA franchise has gotten that much richer, that much more exuberant and that much more alive. A new GTA means an entirely new, improved city, which we can and most certainly will find ourselves pleasurably lost in for hours at a time.
