GTA V: 10 Reasons Why It Will Rule 2012

4. Back to Los Santos €œWhy did I move here?€, Our mysterious protagonist asks at the start of the debut trailer, but we all know why; Because Los Santos is awesome. Remember all the hours, weeks and maybe even years you spend in Los Santos back in the San Andreas days? Well with GTA V we can revisit the gameworld version of Los Angeles and spend the rest of the year fooling around there. But why is Los Santos and reason to rule? L.A. certainly isn€™t among the best cities in the U.S. by a log way, but it does have one thing going for it; it€™s designed around the car. The large roads and grid system make the city easy to drive around at break neck speed. Another reason for Rockstar to set the game in an L.A.-like city would be to cleverly hide the draw distance the cites famous smog and pollution, just a thought. So what do we know so far about the setting of GTA 5? Not a lot, but what we do know is cause for excitement. From the trailers and small amount of information the developers have let slip, we know that the game is set in €œLos Santos and the surrounding countryside€, which leaves a lot of room for other towns and perhaps even other cities. We also know that €œIt will be the largest and most ambitious open world game we€™ve ever created€, which puts our anticipation levels through the roof.
