GTA V: 10 Reasons You'd Be Insane Not To Play

2. The Music!

Rockstar as their name go, have definitely been rocking with the stars on this one. They always know how to tickle their fans leaving their tiny hairs up. The last edition blew my mind, with artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Deadmau5, Gang Starr, Mc Lyte, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Kanye West, Mobb Deep, Fat Joe, Manu Dibango, Dizzy Gillespie, Jean Michel Jarre, Aphex Twin, Soulfly, The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Queen, Elton John, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Shaggy, Bob Marley and more€ enough to fill give anyone sonic indigestion.

In fact, the tracks are atmospheric and in many cases fit in the scenario, leaving you thoughtful, while you drift and get absorbed in the realm of Rockstar. My moment was crossing the bridge on a rainy evening with smoky headlights in the distance and €œSo much trouble in the world€ kicking on Tuff Gong Radio. It was incredible, I was subdued with melancholia and a feeling of euphoria, wondering, €œNow I see what next gen means€ goodness me!€. Rockstar are masters in the phenomenon, as they hit me again in Red Dead Redemption when Jose Gonzalez€™s €œFar Away€ slowly build up the entry to Mexico.

I paused the game and went to find out about the track and subsequently ended up a fan of Jose Gonzalez. Now his music will haunt my life and probably my children (when I have some€ if I do€). Music, transcends from generation to generation and its effect can sometimes push an individual to unknown and incredible €œrealms€. As an audiophile and music enthusiast, the tracks compiled would be a work of art on its own. Hats off Rockstar!
