GTA V: 10 Things Rockstar Could Have Perfected With Another Delay

5. Phone & Radio Button Mapping

Gta V Michael Phone Call Having played GTA V only on the Xbox, this might be a problem specific to the Xbox controller. In any case, it is still an issue. If you want to change radio stations (something you do a lot in Grand Theft Auto), you have to hold down the left button on the d-pad and then use the right stick to select the station. It works fine most of the time, except when you accidentally bring up the mobile phone, which is also accessed via the d-pad. If it only happened a few times, you might be able to ignore it, but bringing up the phone by accident is such a regular occurrence that it is the first thing I think about when I want to change to a different radio station. The same thing happens when you want to put the top down of your convertible. You park up and then press the button on the d-pad, but your phone pops up instead. With a bit more time, the control issues could have been ironed out, with the d-pad being used for less essential features.
