GTA V: 10 Things We Learned From Leaked Footage

1. Character Switching Is As Awesome As It Looks

Gta V J When a trailer for GTA V demonstrated the ability to switch characters on the fly, we were shown a gorgeous zoom-out animation, which took us into the sky before re-circulating on the location of the next character we'd be assuming, before diving back down to meet them. I, for one, assumed that this was just a snazzy animation designed to show off how the character-switching would work, but alas, I was pleased to see today that this has been retained in the final version of the game. Given the technical strain this must be placing on current hardware, it's hugely impressive to see the game switching between characters in a period of around ten seconds, and masking its loading times so extremely well. Given that the view of the map changes according to wherever your characters are situated, this should stop these loading sequences from boring us or becoming overly familiar. I, for one, am just even more stoked after seeing these clips. Are there any other awesome things you've managed to see? Or perhaps you're lucky enough to have the game already?
