GTA V: 10 Things We Learned From Leaked Footage

4. The Water Is Incredible

Gta V G Because it's so difficult to find an HD video of GTA V gameplay at the moment, we have to settle for these relatively low-quality stills, yet one thing has been clear from watching this game in action - the water effects are stunning. Like fire, water is notoriously one of the most difficult elements to render - as has been an issue of the film industry for years - and though in recent years we have seen massive graphical leaps forward, it's safe to say that GTA V really seems to have mastered not just the superficial look of it, but the physics, the subtle movements, and even the foaminess when you catch a wave on a jet-ski. It's subtle touches like this that demonstrate Rockstar's mind-blowing level of attention-to-detail, and though most of us would have expected the game to tone the graphics down to accommodate its sheer scale, it seems that Rockstar has pulled off a technical tour-de-force.
