GTA V: 10 Unfortunate Consequences Of Living In Los Santos

6. Rampages Are An Everyday, Nonchalant Thing

The horrible thing about violence is that it€™s random and inexplicable. Yet while Los Santos appears to have a monopoly on the latter term, the former doesn€™t really have a place in this world. Oftentimes, you can pretty much pinpoint the exact location where the most extravagant, scenery-chewing carnage will go down. It€™s basically wherever Trevor chooses to enact a rampage, and what€™s curious is that it€™s always the same location. Aside from the fact that Mr. Phillips€™ feat of utter lunacy would cost the city a hefty packet €“ German insurance firm Allianz recently concluded the average playthrough (basically, not €˜roided-up and semi-invincible with infinite grenades) would cost around $8 million an hour in damages €“ what€™s weird is that no-one seems to bat an eyelid when Trevor goes on his regular-as-clockwork murder sprees. Apparently, repeatedly taking bullet-soaked vengeance on hipsters doesn't even warrant an extra cop on the street corner with a tranquiliser rifle, but thems the brakes, I guess. But what does this imply? Well apparently, it means that this sort of pants-on-head ridiculousness is pretty much standard behaviour in these parts. I know most people don€™t like hipsters or gangsters, but such a casual reaction to mindless, explode-y slaughter is pretty terrifyingly lax. Surely after the first incident stick his face on a few wanted posters, guys? That way at least you won€™t be surprised when his murder conga takes him to the outside of a military base. You should be enacting a shoot-on-sight policy, not mocking his Canadian accent.
