GTA V: 20 Reasons Why You Should Be Excited

19. Superior Mechanics

I remember playing GTA IV for the first time and freaking out a little. Coming straight from San Andreas, which I was playing through again at the time, the mechanics of their newest entry into the franchise felt a little too real by comparison. And like many of you undoubtedly did, I crashed the living shit out of Roman€™s taxi worse than in a Street Fighter 4 bonus round. As a result, I was adamant that the game wasn€™t as good. It doesn€™t take too long for you to realise though that GTA IV€™s mechanics are as good as its predecessors. And much, much better still. All it takes is a little practice. These superior mechanics were even apparent from the little things, like the way the characters moved through the world when drunk or the way they reacted when you walked into them. And it€™s been nearly five years since then. Given Rockstar€™s knack for exponentially improving their output, GTA V without a doubt promises more of these superior mechanics and on an even grander scale. We€™re positively giddy with excitement.
