14. Advanced Carnage
As previously discussed, its been nearly five years since GTA IV was released. While it split the hardcore fans down the middle, it was still a hugely successful title thanks in no small part to the sheer, open world carnage that it was possible to wreak on Liberty City. The way enemies died, the way their blood painted the surface behind them, the way people rag-dolled as they flew over the hood of your car; it was nothing short of insane. And try introducing a live grenade to a cluster of enemies without breaking out into satisfied laughter at the result. It cant be done. Five years on the landscape has changed, developments have been made, technology is that much more refined. GTA IV was graphically and technologically stunning in the way it presented its action, and its not only likely but just about a given that this will have been built upon even further for GTA V. It just wouldnt be a Rockstar sequel if it hadnt.
