4. Side Missions - Crop Dusting Etc
In the first trailer released for GTA V we saw an agricultural plane (above) fly over a field of workers spraying what looked to be fertilizers or pesticides on the crops below. This plane is known as a cropduster and was present in GTA: San Andreas. Gamers could even release the planes payload of pesticides though this served only for realism purposes and had no actual in-game purpose. We know that this vehicle is going to be present in GTA V but the question is, in what capacity? Will there be side missions where we can work for a farm tending to the crops from above as a source of extra income, or was this just from a mission cut-scene with the plane also having no in-game purpose in GTA V? We hope it is the former. Side missions (such as taxi driver, ambulance driver, paramedic etc.) are getting a little stale in the GTA franchise these days and it is high time Rockstar introduced something new in this department. Another idea for an aviation-based side mission is search and rescue, which would allow us to commandeer a helicopter to scour the sea searching for survivors from a boating accident. This could once more tie in with the randomised dynamic missions I referred to earlier on.
