GTA V: 5 DLC Rumours We Really Want To Come True

1. North Yankton

Gtavnorthyankton As well as hinting that Niko Bellic would return to the GTA franchise, GTAForums user "theNGclan" also claimed he had discovered code proving the existence of new locations, weapons, clothes and radio stations in future DLC. One such claim was that North Yankton would one day become accessible to gamers. Fans will remember North Yankton as the snowy setting of GTA V's opening scenes, where a heist that Michael and Trevor are running goes wrong. NY seemed like a beautiful place from the brief glimpse we caught of it in those early scenes in 'V', and the thought of exploring a winter wonderland is an exciting one. Proof that this location might be unlocked via DLC was lent further credibility by the supposed unearthing in game files by "theNGclan" of radio stations such as 'North Yankton PR' and 'Yankton Entert'. Alas, like the Niko rumour, all this was also outed as a hoax recently. However, given the momentum it picked up, and how popularly received this fictitious claim was with the GTA fan base, Rockstar could still look into this as a plausible route to take for future DLC. You can see more of what was purportedly unearthed in the GTA V files pertaining to future DLC here, it's an interesting list, and a lot of it would make for wonderful downloadable content.
