1. Chainsaw
The chainsaw was available in In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. When used in Vice City on an unfortunate pedestrian, chunks of cubed flesh would fly out of their torso. It was the only melee weapon that would slow the player down to a walking pace and could not be used on fleeing victims. It is also the only melee weapon that would warrant a wanted level without it actually being used to attack someone. If the player activated the chainsaw in public, pedestrians would panic and flee, and if there was a police officer nearby, he would attempt to arrest you. It hasn't been seen in the GTA franchise since 2009's Chinatown Wars title, which, when used, could cause victims bodies to split open for the first time in any of the previous GTA titles.
