The GTA series has never had a female protagonist, and we think it's time that changed. Grand Theft Auto
has come in for criticism in recent times for its sexist attitude toward women, with games allowing the player to visit strip clubs and sleep with prostitutes. A further example of misogyny is the fact that, since Catalina in GTA III, there has been no strong, female role in the franchise, while the continued lack of a female protagonist has also led to criticisms. Which is why Officer Vasquez should be a playable character in future DLC. There aren't many stronger female characters than Vasquez in the GTA cannon, and it would be fascinating to play as a cop - maybe a bent cop? Vasquez is killed off in a mission in GTA Online, but Rockstar have used deceased characters as protagonists in the past, such as Victor Vance - brother of the villainous Lance Vance - in Vice City Stories.
