3. The Car Wash Is Back...
Not really news that gets (pardon the pun) our engines running at full capacity, but news that the car wash is back is positive from a realism perspective. The car wash has featured in numerous GTA titles down the years but has only been made fully-functional in GTA IV and Episodes From Liberty City. In the past, they have merely served as static objects, much like the numerous petrol stations found dotted around the map, but the ability to actually use them in recent titles has given driving and maintaining our automobiles added depth. For example, after an afternoon of hit-and-running a sidewalk full of pedestrians, the hood of our car was splattered with blood (yuk!) and so, after one trip to the car wash, our motor was spic and span again. The legend that accompanied the supposedly leaked map noted the location of a car wash, and we're pleased that Rockstar have retained this feature considering the immersion it brings to the series.
