GTA V: 5 Things We Hope It Delivers

3. Advanced AI

Now, this one's a given. Rockstar have confirmed that there will be a lot of ambient activity going on around you, some of which will be interactive, such as the stranger missions on Red Dead Redemption. On RDR, there were maybe a total of 10 different stranger missions I came across, including saving someone's friend from a group of bad guys to being shot and mugged by those who I stopped to help. You can expect these sorts of random encounters to happen more frequently with a much larger variety in GTA V, but this doesn't mean you have to help everyone. I am also excited to be able to have firefights with the police, and try to defend an area while they are tactically moving into a better position. I'm sure I can't be the only one who has tried to re-enact Three Leaf Clover in the Bank of Liberty City, only to have police and S.W.A.T. charge at me with one-hit-kill shotguns. More advanced AI definitely creates a lot more hours of gameplay both in single-player and online, and I'm sure we'll all be finding out how good the police are early on, whether we want to or not.
